      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Redlands, CA) in Mar 2014

      Interview

Here is the complete breakdown. Applied for the job on USPS website. 1 day later Received email to complete personality test Instantly after received email to take 473 test u are given a deadline to take the test so I scheduled mine right away. No need to study test entails memorization and common sense skills. Scored 84.9 3 days later received an email to take a drug test, release permission for background check and an interview date which cannot be rescheduled. Interview took place on march 18th it starts off as a group interview which consists of hr twiddling out the weaker candidates. If u havent had a drivers license for 2 consecutive years this included if your license expired lapsed and you did not Renee it before it expired then you do not qualify. They also go over how demanding the position is, and they go over criminal background that can affect your employment. Be prepared to take a list of 7 years of previous residence. They then call you in, in accordance to your score the higher the score the faster you get your one on one interview. The interview is fairly simple. I was interviewed by the postmaster, who had a great personality which made the interview very pleasant. They ask basic questions like how would you handle an angry customer? What frustrates you at work? What motivates you? Etc. 3 weeks later I received a call to come in and sign my medical clearance and sign some papers regarding taxes and medical history. We were then sent home and told we would be called tomorrow with an offer and location.
