I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Jacksonville, FL) in May 2013
Interview
Once I was contacted for an interview it went pretty smooth. They want to hear that you are always available and are willing to learn and follow procedures. Don't get too personal because it is all business. There are no negotiations. It is what it is. Be prepared to jump around everywhere until a career position becomes available and hope it is in an area near you.
Took a test then called in for interview based on test scores. If you scored the highest, you got the interview. The interview itself was really simple and quick. You hear back in 3 to 4 weeks.

Interview
I applied online and received an invitation to take an assessment. After the assessment I started receiving interviews. Once was a group interview and at the end they spent a few minutes interviewing us individually. The next interview was 1 on 1 and I was asked common interview questions.

Interview
Interview was to be expected, they walk you through the company. I fear this is too easy as most offices are undermanned which gets people in that cannot handle the workload.
