I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Detroit, MI) in Sept 2018
Interview
The process to apply is more involved than simply emailing a resume. First you have to create an account through their career website, search positions through the database, and upload your resume. Once you’ve applied for a listing you’ll be required to authorize a background check for your driving history. Next you’re required to take an online multiple choice quiz about how you’d handle certain customer related scenarios, if you score well you’ll get a call directly from the postal location you applied to schedule an interview. During the in-person interview your asked another series of questions but more about you’re ability working with others.
Even though the process has many steps, each step was easy to follow and happened quickly

Interview
Easy no face to face everything through email background check, motor vehicle check, then you get a offer for orientation the pre exam easy it changed a little bit, but go in orientation is about 4 days and next week a shallow and you on your own great job
No interview really. Once you get called in they don't even interview you. Just need to pass the background check. I thought I was going to get interviewed but they just finger printed and asked basic questions about yourself. Again it wasn't an interview. I already had the job, they just want to place you where you want to go.
Time consuming. So many hoops and pretest. Lots of steps followed by extremely slow responses back. Time consuming. So many hoops and pretest. Lots of steps followed by extremely slow responses back. Very unexciting too.
