I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Cleveland, OH) in Oct 2014
Interview
I was sent an email from HR asking for me to submit to a background check and drug test. Once I completed the drug test, I filled out the paperwork online for the background check consent. About 1 week later I was sent an email and asked to come in for an interview about 3 days prior. Very unprofessional email comprised of none of the information I needed (address, what to bring, who to ask for, how to get in a secure building). I had to reply to the email to get this information. Once I was given the information I went to the interview. I met with Eileen on Orange Ave in Cleveland Ohio. I sat and waited for her for about 30 minutes before she came to the lobby to get me. I was sat down in a cubical and given w4 and I9 and other misc paperwork. I filled out the forms then was taken into a separate area and was finger printed. Once I was done I was told to report to orientation that following Monday. Orientation was 3 days long. I was told to report to the airport after that.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Have you ever been convicted of a felony (they do hire felons as long as it wasn't for theft). I wasn't asked any other questions.

Interview
It wasn’t too intimidating. Background checks were conducted. Finger printing. A lot of formalities. This was prior to the holiday parcel rush so it was pretty quick easy and efficient. I don’t remember the interview process being too hard either.

This is annoying why must it be 30 words ridiculous! Blah blah blah blah blah
The interview process was over an hour. They give you a specific time and date to attend. Once you get to the location, you would have to stand in a lobby til HR gets you. You and a group of others will go to a room where the interview will take place
