I connected with Gannett through a recruiter and spoke with the director and the manager. They asked me about my background and asked me to walk them through my portfolio. The next interview I talked with the VP of Product Design and UX who gave me more information about the company and who also asked me to show them my portfolio. I received an offer about a week later

Question 1
If you'd had more time to work on your project, what else would you have done?
The interview was conducted in a strange, adversarial way. I felt like I was on trial and being interviewed by prosecutors rather than potential coworkers and managers. I've never seen such poor behavior in the interview stage.
I'm unsure who would continue with the interview process after seeing bad behavior in an interview but I can only guess they are only able to hire folks who are either desperate or who thrive in poor working conditions (possibly fellow bullies?).
I regret giving them the benefit of the doubt and wasting time interviewing here.
