I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at USF Health Byrd Alzheimer's Institute (Tampa, FL) in Jan 2015
Interview
I first met with the CEO who wanted to understand why I wanted to work in their lab. After doing so he introduced me to one of their Research Directors who wanted to set up another meeting with me. The entire process took two weeks.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at USF Health Byrd Alzheimer's Institute (Tampa, FL) in Jun 2014
Interview
I got my interview about a week after applying. The interview lasted about a couple hours, beginning with a written test and then a face-to-face interview with two of the lab's researchers. The test was simple for anyone with a science lab background, and they said that it was more for determining the amount of training needed than to actually decide on an offer. The interviewers were very friendly, and asked straightforward questions about my prior experience and what I'm looking to gain from working there. They also answered all of my questions and even gave me a tour of the lab. I received my offer in less than a week after the interview.
