An HR representative reached out to me asking if I would be interested in the position. I agreed to a phone interview. I was hesitant considering I did not enjoy the experience the last time an HR person from USI reached out to me but I agreed. The initial phone screen was what you would expect, basic background questions etc. Next I was scheduled for an in person interview with someone who was doing the job but for the medical side. She was very pleasant and gave me some honest and frank information about the role and some of the disfunction within USI. Next I was scheduled for another phone screen with a project manager and someone else in a leadership role (cannot recall who.) During this phone interview they described a role in a way that was VERY different from what was described by the HR team and the person who conducted a face to face interview. When I asked about the disparity, they seemed put off and I probably should have withdrawn at that point. A few weeks later I got a call to come in for another face to face interview with the same people I did the last phone interview with. This interview consisted of what I would describe as "gotcha" questions. It was overall and unpleasant experience. Most disturbing about the process is the fact that despite my requests for discretion, a leadership team member from USI called to essentially gossip about my interview with someone I currently work with. This was very unprofessional and made for an awkward situation for me at my current employer. This was especially disappointing considering I didn't seek USI out, they came to me.
Several weeks went by and I have heard nothing. This was the same with the last interview I had with USI, they never tell you if they selected someone else, no feedback, just silence.
