I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ubisoft (Montreal, QC) in May 2012
Interview
I had to check my currriculum with the producer and human ressources person. They asked me a bit about my old jobs and my motivations. After they told me a bit a bout the project i was applying for. They then told me they would contact me within 1 or 2 weeks
The interview went really well—it was smooth, polite, and the interviewer was super friendly and professional. They were also great with email communication, always quick to respond and really clear. But, even though everything else was great, it did take a bit longer than I expected for the job offer to come through, which was a bit surprising.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Ubisoft (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2024
Interview
Was asked about professional history, animation process and mindset, why I wanted to get into games. No curveballs or behavioural questions, probably because it was for a more junior role.
