I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ubisoft (Ðà Nẵng, Ðà Nẵng) in Dec 2021
Interview
One interview, One test, One interview to debrief the test, one offer. Overall technical and focusing on what to do in the studio, where the skills and needed, and shape a career path in the different projects of the studio, when they have this flexibility.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What did I work on before? What was one difficult production challenge I faced and how did I solve it? Design-centric question of "If I had this in my game, what if that" in testing me on the spot.
Horrible HR, sent me a google calendar invite without even contacting me before hand. During the meeting they were moving around the studio, losing connection, and I could hardly hear their voice. They don't respect the people they are interested in.
For a first interview with a HR person, it became a technical interview right away and they obviously didn't know what they were talking about but asking additional questions, without having a real understanding of what we were talking about.

Question 1
Technical questions, many of them, during the first HR interview
It was a brief chat to understand my level of game design and perception. We had a simple discussion on soft and hard currency. It was relatively a fun discussion overall
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What type of soft currency was used in your previous game?
I interviewed at Ubisoft (Newcastle upon Tyne, England)
Interview
it was slow, but easy in every aspect, don't be scared of their questions. Everyone who interviews is great at what they do. The recruiters are very slow at getting back to you.
