Interview
Got a ping from my university that I was selected to do an interview after applying (2 weeks post the application process). 2 persons where present for a 30min interview. They where mostly wondering about myself on a more personal level (15min) and 15min on more technical questions.
The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Ubisoft (Montreal, QC)
Interview
A phone call + an Team interview with some technical questions. The team interview was with 2 devs and 1 HR person. The technical questions were based on C# and Typescript
I applied online. I interviewed at Ubisoft (Belgrade, Central Serbia) in Aug 2020
Interview
This review is for the Ubisoft studio in Belgrade, Serbia
First, when you pass the CV screening process, you get an online test, mostly about C++ specifics, and some easy-medium algo type questions.
Once you pass that, you will get a phone HR interview in which you talk about why you wanna join Ubisoft, and some prior experiences, typical HR questions...
Once you pass the HR phone interview, you will get a joint HR + Tech interview done through MS Teams platform. One of their tech leads will be asking you questions, again, about C++ specifics, and some about the test that you had earlier. My interviewer was super friendly, and also one of the first employees in the Belgrade studio. He pushed me towards correct answers if I got stuck...
All in all, the interview was a very good experience. I will have high standards for interviews from now on :)
One note: this was during COVID-19 quarantine. There were no on-site interviews.
