I submitted my résumé and completed the online application process. It was very detailed, but worth it. When I returned home from school I received a phone call asking for an in person interview. It was very informal, but I think that it pays off to come in well-dressed and with make-up and hair done.

Interview
It was a group interview with four other girls and the GM asked us two questions each and also what we knew about the Ulta Rewards Card. They were mostly scenarios so be prepared to come up with a good story. Was pretty easy and for the most part she just talked about the company. Got a call back two days later saying I got the job.

It was laid back. The HR interviewer was very nice. She gave me some background information about the company. She only asked maybe four questions. Then she asked me some questions about myself. She generally seemed interested in what I had to say. The interview lasted about twenty minutes. This was a new store, so they were scrambling to find employees.

Applied online, got called in for interview a week later. Let me start off by saying all the reviews you read are true unfortantley. I hoped only cause I love the store that the people on here were being divas but not at all. The manager was 20 mins late to interview. And she rushed my interview to cover her tracks of actually being late. and she was rude. Waste of my time.
