They have you apply online, and they call you within a few days to come in for an interview, after your initial interview they have you come in again and do a technical interview. They provide your model for the technical and you have to color, cut, and style her. And they call you in a couple days to let you know if you've gotten the job.

They ask about your available schedule, questions about your previous work experience, and why you chose to apply at ulta.
The regional manager was ghosting me when I made several attempts inquiring about the position as hairstylist. I interviewed in February of 2020 and was accepted the position. Sadly Covid came.
I applied/inquired two times after Covid and the manager never called me back. When I finally got her on the phone she was very abrupt, dismissive, and said she is not hiring. That was not true, they are hiring.

Did an in person interview at the store I was going to work at and then did a technical interview in another store close by that had someone trained to do my technical interview
General manager was super sweet, I think every location is different, My location was a new one so everything went by quickly. You need to do a practical interview as well.
