The process was very similar to other comparable roles. There was an initial screening call that outlined the role and recapped the responsibilities of the position. The focus of the call was to determine if my skillset matched the description of the role.

Question 1
How many years of multi-unit management experience do you have?
Pretty terrible. They string you along and then just go with an internal because it’s cheaper. They just post jobs externally for compliance, but they’re another company that will low ball an internal with less experience.

Interview
Spent 45 minutes with a recruiter over the phone going over my background and interest in Ulta. We discussed relocation and what that would look like. Was going to pass my information on for next steps but I was ghosted and heard nothing back. Followed up with an email and no response two weeks later. Very unprofessional
