      Sales Associate Interview

      2 Jul 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Melrose Park, IL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ultimate Exposure (Melrose Park, IL)

      Interview

I printed the application from online and turned it into the salon. I got a call back in about a week or so. A day or two later I got a call and was offered the job. I was signed up to do a 2-day 12-hour paid training program to learn everything about the company values, goals, vision, etc. We did really fun role-playing and sales pitches. We got a few free tanning products which was also cool, and free lunch as well.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

None. They are all basic interview questions. If you know about the tanning salon industry this is helpful and you will get hired easier.

The interview process with very laid back. The interviewer read off the questions and then wrote in my responses. She told me about the job description and what the job really boils down to. She asked me about my previous work experience and how comfortable I was in certain situations. I had a great interview and my interviewer was so friendly.
