I first connected with a recruiter who sent me some screening questions. I was then scheduled for a zoom interview where I was asked to prepare and internalize a demo lesson with a visual aid. Once on the call I was redirected to the narrative part of the interview. Asked about my background in teaching including what subjects I taught and what I was being coached on. I was also asked why Uncommon. I then was asked to come in person to do demo lesson in front of students.

The interview process was very straightforward. After completing the online application, I heard from a member of the recruitment team very soon after for a phone interview. Following the phone interview, I was contacted by a principal to come for a sample lesson and final interview. At the sample lesson, I received a tour of the school and taught the lesson. Then I got feedback directly following the lesson and did some final interview questions.
