Unframe interview questions

Had my first call with HR today. Spent a few hours prepping, I was not actively looking for a job but the overall company and job description was enough to create motivation and excitement. The recruiter joined the call late, told me she could not find my resume or pull up my info on LinkedIn (just type my name in) and I said she was not at all prepared. She descriped how the interview process would go with her, on this initial call, and then said "Does that sound good?" I said sure, which was followed by her saying that the position had been put on hold, indefinitely, and she recommended me checking back in a few weeks. Very strange and terrible overall process. We never even touched on her agenda. Thanks but no thanks, their loss.
