They got back to me within a day or two of applying and an interview was scheduled on-site. The interviewing process itself was very easy. I met with two people I'd be directly working with, they reviewed my resume and asked some basic technical questions about my experience. Described what the position entailed. They seemed like pleasant people I'd get along working with.
Honestly it was one of the weirdest interviews ever. I asked them what their biggest challenge was working here, and they both got shifty eyed and looked at each other before they essentially started bad mouthing ownership! I couldn't believe my eyes or ears. It exactly corroborated the glassdoor reviews here.
Beyond that, HR is a complete mess. They emphasized to me that it would probably take a few weeks for HR to get back to me and that only HR has a say in the hiring process. Well, after hearing nothing for two weeks I tried to get an update from HR. No update. Try again a bit later.. no update. It has been well over a month since interviewing at this point and I've heard nothing, expect to hear nothing, and don't think I'd accept an offer at this point anyway. Culture and management seem inept and toxic every step of the way.
From drug testing for nicotine (what is this, a hospital?), to interviewers bad mouthing ownership, to inept HR, bar none the most toxic company I've ever had to deal with.
