Interview
I felt very respected and valued during my interview process. The timelines and expectations were clear, I always understood exactly how each interview would be set up and who I would be discussing with, and timelines for feedback and next steps were clearly communicated and followed.

Interview
A member from the Sales team reached out to schedule the first interview. The interview went well and a few days later he reached out to set-up a second interview with the hiring manager. HR was also included on the e-mail and asked to speak with me before the second interview so we could align on salary. This seemed very strange to me. I'm not sure why HR didn't reach out in the first place to arrange the interviews/discuss salary. After I talked to HR, the hiring manager sent over a couple of times they were available to meet for my second interview. Most of the times were after normal business hours (late evening) and one of the dates/times was even on a Sunday. Huge, huge red flag. I picked a time for the second interview (luckily at a normal time). During the second interview I was asked a couple of questions but the interviewer seemed disengaged. They didn’t ask follow-up questions and it didn’t seem like they were interested in getting a full understanding of my background. The interview was scheduled for an hour but ended 15 minutes. At the end I was told that they would follow-up in a few days. I ended up being ghosted which was really unfortunate. I was a huge fan of their products. CPG companies need to understand that many people want to work for their brands because they love the products they make. When they are treated badly during an interview process, they end up losing customers.
