I applied online. I interviewed at Upstart (Columbus, OH) in Jan 2021
Interview
A total of 3 weeks of interviewing with recruitment, quality assurance team, compliance, learning and development, operations and references check. Each interview was about 30 minutes with each person. A majorities of the time, questions were scenario. Time was left for the candidate to ask questions.
The 1st interview was with a recruiter and the 2nd round was with team members and 3rd round was with managers. It was a long but acceptable process. They asked a lot of question but was pretty open about the culture
I applied online. I interviewed at Upstart (San Mateo, CA) in Aug 2020
Interview
I went through the entire interview process and when I got to the offer stage, the recruiter informed me that the salary for this position was lower than what they presented- more than 16% lower. One of the most unprofessional interviews i've been a part of and since then, i've recommended that no interview here- they clearly don't know what they're doing.
