The overall interview process went on for 5 months. The HR, the CEO and the CBO (Chief Business Offices) are not at the same page. The CEO and the CBO ended up saying that the numbers I presented in the case study were wrong !!! Mind you, the numbers were taken from an established research house which is the most authentic body in the country. That came as a shocker as I thought the people here would be knowledgeable about the industry and research. No wonder they aren't able to find anyone for the research role since last 5 months. The HR asked me to prepare something for the final round while the CEO and CBO wanted something else in the final round. Clear miscommunication and mismanagement on their part and the HR wanted me to come back again for a F2F because she couldn't manage to do her job correctly!!
No feedback given at the end of the process. There's only 1 research guy currently working in the team and he seemed to be overworked. I was apprehensive anyways about joining the company going by their Glassdoor ratings but after seeing the attitude of the top management in the interview process, I am happy I dodged a bullet at the end.
