You apply online by answering some basic screening questions. Response times are immediate. Then next step in the interview process is the 10 minutes demo lesson you present to a facilitator in Beijing. This is done over the internet and connections can be spotty or lag. Roll with it and keep smiling.
Your performance during this part determines your offer of pay. If you pass this leg of the interview process, you will be sent an offer of what you would make upon hire and you will be invited to do a practicum 1 lesson/interview. This is a 26 minute lesson broken up into two parts. You present for 15 minutes, get feedback, then implement the suggestions. They are looking to see if you can implement suggestions, so take careful notice and do what you are asked. If you pass this phase, you will be give a rubric score and written feedback and invited to the next step, Practicum 2. This is actually the least nerve-wracking part, as long as you have listened and prepared.
