I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Valet Living (Vallejo, CA) in Feb 2019
Interview
The interview process was initially bass however very detailed.
I started off talking to a recruiter which asked me many basic questions about the job and if I could do it. The recruiter was very nice and definitely wanted to make sure I understood what the job was and what my responsibilities would be.
My second interview was in person with the district manager and the Northern California district manager. They both made me feel comfortable. The interview was held at a hotel in Pleasanton. Again both managers went over what the job would be as if they wanted to talk me out of the position. I felt the interview went well.
I was disappointed however when the communication suddenly stopped. The recruiter mentioned how the Company was having a new quarter kick off and how it will be a week before I will hear something back.
During both my interviews I ask how much does a district manager make. The recruiter nor both the managers could not tell me.
I asked for 70,000 they said that could probably happen but then I never heard from the company again I reached out to recruiter just to follow up and I never received a response it was disappointing because the communication at this time was going very well.
I believe that I asked for too much money and was overqualified.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. Your experience is definitely not up to our standards. If you can email me separately with your name and contact information, our team will follow up with you to discuss further. My email is antonio.fiorentino@valetliving.com

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Valet Living (Birmingham, AL) in Apr 2023
Interview
Had a phone screen, then was immediately scheduled for a second interview with the hiring manager. After the hiring manager I was told I had to completed a ride along to get a feel for the position. I scheduled my ride along and provided them with unpaid labor of about 6 hours and have yet to hear anything back positive or negative. There has to be better follow up with your candidates, don’t leave people hanging.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Valet Living (Vacaville, CA) in Jun 2022
Interview
The 3 interviews I had went good, but I was never followed up with after my second interview, and I had to reach out multiple times to get answers on updates. To interview for a position that many times, and to be left in the dark without updates or an answer was disappointing. I even went out of my way to take my third interview while I was on vacation outside of the country(that is how serious I was about the opening). I hope they found someone to fill the roll, but a clear line of communication goes a long way.
