The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Valvoline Instant Oil Change
Interview
•Applied online for the ENTRY LEVEL TECH position , received a text asking if I was available to talk from 2pm-8pm .
•Received a call from someone that seems very bored at work , and had no enthusiasm.
•He asked me some questions and my availability, then told me he would reach back out to me with in 48 hours based on what the managers at the shop needed .
• I told him “thank you and have a good day” , he told me “ok”and hung up .
•The next day I received a email saying
“Thank you for your interest in Valvoline Instant Oil Change ,Unfortunately, the Assistant manager in training position that you applied to has been canceled.”
•It was confusing because I never applied for that position , so I’m guessing that was HR’s way of “reaching back out” to me .
•Hopefully next time I apply I get someone else to interview with.
I applied online. I interviewed at Valvoline Instant Oil Change (Folsom, CA) in Jun 2023
Interview
I prefer in person interviews, asking and answering questions about training, and overall experience. I do have experience with oil changes and other automotive skills. I have customer service skills. I would like to work as a teammate, and continue to learn.

It was nice and easy. People were nice. They did forget to show up on one of my interviews but with them being nice it just made up for it and I took the job.
