I recently completed a three-step interview process with Varonis. The first interview was with a recruiter, who focused on discussing my experience. The second interview was with a team member, where I was asked several technical questions, and I felt confident in my responses. Finally, the third interview was conducted by the director, who primarily asked about my personal experiences and qualifications, without any technical questions.
Although I passed the second interview and received positive feedback on my technical answers, I was later informed via email that I was not selected for the position, with the reason being that I need to improve my technical answers. This outcome has left me confused, as my performance in the second interview seemed satisfactory, and no technical questions were raised in the final round.
As a foreigner striving to establish a career in the industry, I have made significant efforts to overcome challenges and present my skills effectively. However, rejection without constructive feedback make this journey increasingly difficult. I believe that providing candidates with detailed feedback would greatly help them grow and better prepare for future opportunities.
