I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Varsity Tutors (Kansas City, MO) in Nov 2019
Interview
Interview was quick and efficient. Also, the interview was done completely online. As long as you are prepared and give well-thought out answers, it does not take very long. The fact that they can see you through your computer screen -- even during the prep time -- is kind of nerve wrecking and unfamiliar.

Interview
It's an online interview system where you record your answers. You can practice answering questions beforehand. I got an offer and spent a very long time reading the contract only to know that my ID was not accepted. This was not stated anywhere in their job description. If you email someone about your problems, you'll either get useless automatic responses or reply from an actual human being 10 days later. A total waste of time and considering how underpaid tutors are, it's not worth it.

Interview
I found the interview process to be a little off putting and difficult to prepare for. You don’t talk to a real person because the whole thing is online. Instructions are brief and the questions are timed. Felt like all the most stressful aspects of an interview minus the social interaction.
