I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Varsity Tutors in Nov 2015
Interview
I filled out an application online, which took less than 5 minutes. About a day later I was emailed to schedule a phone interview. The photo interview asked about my application, my experience, and some general math, science, and english questions. I passed that and got an email to schedule an online interview using Varsity Tutors online platform. The interviewer showed me some of the tools of the platform and asked me to lead her through some problems. After that I was certified to tutor online. A couple days later I was certified to teach in person and started receiving emails about possible students.
