The recruitment process extended over 2 months, involving a total of 5 interviews, including a screening call.
Despite the company's outwardly open-minded approach to training experienced statisticians with knowledge gaps, my interview experience differed. Initially assured that I wasn't expected to know all answers, the interview delved into numerous statistics questions unrelated to my single therapeutic area of expertise, as indicated in my CV. It raises the question of why interview me in the first place, leading to a two-month investment of time.
I've had other interviews where they focus on asking stats questions based on your therapeutic area experience so perhaps they should do something like that. Or just don't waste peoples time!
