Applied near the end of October for 2 roles.
Was asked (twice) to complete an online cognitive assessment in mid November by recruiter.
Called late November regarding booking an interview time with a phone interview time in early December. Recruiter (same throughout process) was calling from a Texas area code. During this interview was just general question about stuff on my resume what my skills are and they introduced (both) teams that were interested and what they do. It's not a technical interview at this stage. They mentioned there are two more interviews after this as part of the typical recruitment process and that it generally takes around 2 month for the whole process.
In late December I informed them I had received another opportunity mid December and requested that they speed up the process since I was interested in the role. I got a call back from the same recruiter in late December where it was mentioned due to the process being much slower than normal they were willing to draft me an offer. I understood it was a busy time of the year but I requested that they prepare it prior to a specific date in January just so I do not waste the time of the other company that provided me an offer. Here I am, waiting almost three weeks for that in-process offer.
