      Senior Embedded Software Engineer Interview

      2 Aug 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verity in Jul 2024

      Interview

      * First interview with a non-technical recruiter: He wanted to see if I was keen and excited to work for a "startup". * Second interview with the CTO and the Head of Software: From a technical perspective they did not pass the test: They asked irrelevant questions that told them nothing about my capabilities as engineer. That said, I answered all the questions correctly. After a week I received a rejection email with an absurd excuse. It is clear to me that they are not looking for talent or experience, What they are looking for are very young engineers with some talent, easily manageable and who do not pose a threat to their status quo.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

General questions about I2C, SPI and linux schedulers.
