I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in Oct 2012
Interview
The hiring process was difficult, it consisted of a phone pre-screen interview based on a document about Verizon culture (the infamous "credo"), passing that resulted in a assessment focused on typing, math, reading comprehension, and logic/problem solving. After passing the asessement there was a interview with the Human Resources coordinator. After getting the thumbs up there was yet another interview this time with the supervisor you'd be working with. After finally completing the interview process it was a standard back-ground check/drug test.

Question 1
The most difficult question was listening to recorded calls and then having to critique it, what went well, what did not, what could have been done differently.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Verizon (Cincinnati, OH) in May 2026
Interview
The interview was conducted virtually. It was for the customer service position. Mostly I was questioned about how I would handle various scenarios, for assisting clients. I was asked some real world examples and asked to handle them.

Question 1
How would you handle an angry or disgruntled customer?
Lengthy and the paperwork is extremely confusing to fill out and submit. Thank you. But other than that really nice people. They hire through a 3rd party called Rose International…. Very helpful people
Unprofessional interview, and unfair. Being bilingual and many years of customer service experience they decided to pass due to many years of experience. The interviewer also looked unorganized and was bias.
