I was reached out to by a recruiter after I sent in my application. We had a great phone conversation and she told me she would be speaking with the CFO the following Monday (this was a Thursday) and would let me know by EOD Monday about next steps. I heard nothing Monday, Tuesday so I followed up Wednesday with no response. I assumed they'd made an offer and even though it's incredibly unprofessional to promise some response and not give one, I was okay to move on in my job search. I saw the posting again three weeks later and reached back out to the recruiter with no reply yet again. The recruiter's name is Maggy and I would not recommend working with her as candidate experience is clearly not something she cares much about.
