Applied normally, got ghosted, then recruiter reached out much later based off my Linkedin. She rescheduled the phone screen multiple times (frequently cancelling less than a day in advance), then I took an online assessment in C++. Had a phone screen afterwards with recruiter, then had a 1x60 technical round. While recruiter was nice, not a good look to cancel multiple times. The actual technical was implementing a multithreaded function or two which wasn't very relevant to embedded. The interviewer also had a thick accent and we jumped right into the coding problem without much introduction. Just felt like a rat lab doing that problem, rather than getting to showcase my skills or have a discussion on anything else.
