I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verkada (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2024
Interview
HR was extremely disorganized - they were never onetime for any of the calls or cancelled and postponed last minute on 2 of 3. When we did speak they spent most of the time talking about their children and their medical needs. I was put thru to the next round but when that was postponed again last second I had learned everything I needed to know about the company and withdrew my name from consideration

Question 1
Tell me what you learned from your previous company that you are applying to your new role?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Verkada in Dec 2020
Interview
It was a standard 3 round interview process. The recruiter did a pretty good job on preparing me for what to expect.
The first two rounds were phone screens and the final round was a video call with a presentation. They did not tell me the correct information on who I was giving the presentation to.
Management seems very green and can tell the work/life balance isn't the best considering they are pushing for their employees to go back into the office in the middle of a pandemic. They also have a lot of recent bad press and the two personal contacts I know that worked at Verkada already left. Quite a few red flags.
