I was asked to complete a code assignment. The task description was pretty clear, except that the form of delivery was not stated. The challenge implied lots of abstractions in the system to be made, so for the team's convenience I decided to use three different forms of delivery that could be evaluated (out-of-the-box Unity project, Unity package with scene samples, and just the code). All of them contained the same code base and documentation files which I carefully attached in order to give a clear understanding of the API and the system overall, implementation examples etc. Soon I've got a feedback of that the solution was good but not enough to proceed. I've requested technical details on what did they like in my solution and what they didn't. Got the following back: "the code is duped 3 times" and "0 comments in the entire code-base". Was expecting everything but not such a frustrating way to filter the candidates.
