Talked to a recruiter at the career fair as a freshman and got an interview. First technical interview. Lots of networking related questions, asked if I knew what a bunch of acronyms stood for (HTML, TCP, IP, UDP etc). Seemed really generic. Unfortunately I hadn't prepared at all, since I was a naive freshman and didn't know it was a technical interview. Also, I wasn't asked to do any code or pseudocode.
One phone screen and one behavioral interview with hiring manager. Very smooth and quick process. Talked about past experiences on my resume and answered questions about working on a team. Entire process took about 1 week.

Question 1
What was an important component about antenna systems?
Initial phone screen was straightforward. Interview with manager was considerably more difficult with resume deep dive and technical questions targeting ASIC/FPGA design flow, digital logic questions, and RTL coding. Expect to be questioned in detail about anything on your resume.
Usually get to know each other kind of questions. Tell me about yourself, are you open for relocation, do you have salesforce experience, tell me about your hobbies, why did you apply for viasat. The hiring manager then walked me through the role and its responsibilities.
