Onsite Interview is fairly informal. Business Casual will suffice.
Onsite interview lasts about 6 hrs.
Interviewers are diverse, some you may or may not work directly with but are there to provide objective feedback.

A lot of "why" follow ups to your responses.
Questions about failures on programs past what you did about it. What constraints did you have?
EVM questions if applicable
Hiring manager asked general behavioral questions about cost forecasting, experience with large and small scale programs and projects. The role was not technical but he asked very technical questions. When I did not get the role it was because they were looking for someone technical despite the job description not including anything technical required.

Can you tell me, in detail, how you would troubleshoot the technology your delivery team deployed to the customer?
Contacted by recruiter, had a phone screen, then a week later had a phone call with hiring manager. Nice conversations, pleasant process up to this point.
After this, complete silence, as many others have experienced. I followed up a few times, but no responses. No big deal if I don’t get the role, but would have been nice to at least get an automated “Thanks but no thanks” email

Interview
I had an HR phone screening, a phone interview with one of the managers, and then a 4-hour onsite with several team members, the hiring manager, and the head of the department.
ViaSat has the most efficient and welcoming candidate experience I've ever had. While I was disappointed I didn't get an offer, I have to acknowledge how well I was treated. Their Carlsbad location is beautiful, and has a candidate lounge, where I was greeted with a goodie bag. The interviewers were all very pleasant and prepared, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process.
