      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Vibe Concepts

      Interview

Sit down interview with a robot of a person who wasn’t really listening or engaged, just following a script it felt like. I ended up talking to a second robot with just as much awkwardness. I interview well and made it to the third round where they had me meet at a Sam’s club or Costco, I can’t rememeber anymore (year ago) and they had me observe a person trying to sell stuff to people while they shop. It was like a pillow or something. I couldn’t believe it. The ad and entire interview was around event marketing and it didn’t mention anything close to selling items bar big box stores. It was unreal.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Vibe Concepts (Louisville, KY)

      Interview

I was invited to interview with Vibe Concepts the day after I applied for an Event Coordinator position. Andrew was the guy I interviewed with and everyone at the office was friendly. I was brought in to interview and was told that I was one of the top people selected for an interview out of 200 applicants. Andrew was speaking so fast and kept tripping over words, which sounded so rehearsed to me, as if they had been doing this same rehearsed speech for people every single day. I was then called an hour after my interview only to be told that I made it to the second round, which meant I had to drive thirty minutes away to a Sam's Club. I then met with the girl who worked at the product booth that Vibe Concepts was promoting. She then told me that the position was actually a Manager in Training positioned and that it was normally a 2-3 year training process, however they condensed it to be a 6-9 month process. If I were to be hired, I would then start on the floor at that very Sam's Club, pushing the product as my job, where I would start out making $9/hr plus commission. She then told me to take notes and observe how she was promoting product. After that interview was over, they called me back and wanted to set up a phone interview with Andrew that night, saying I had made it to round three. It was a rather unprofessional interview as there was a ton of background noise when speaking with Andrew. They then offered me the job that next morning. The whole process just seemed like one big scheme to me and was one of those jobs where they lure you in with a fancy sounding title, where they over-glorify it, only to have you standing on the floor for 12 hrs at a time pushing product. They make it seem like you're only going to be on the floor for a couple of months, so that you can learn the in's and out's of the business and that way you can become a manager, however from what I've heard, it's too good to be true. I am so glad that I found another great job and that I declined the offer, because it would have been long hours with terrible pay. The people running Vibe Concepts prey on recent college grads and other hard-working individuals, only so the candidates will be working on the bottom bringing in all the income for the higher-ups; what's even worse is they make it sound so promising that you will be moving up in the company. After thorough research, this is one big lie. Unfortunately, this is the new way of Pyramid Scheming... if you're not familiar with that term, do some research about this and you will find out that a lot of companies are taking this same approach. Also, look at google reviews on Vibe Concepts; that also helped me to make my decision NOT to work here -- several of them were so disheartening.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Vibe Concepts (Louisville, KY) in May 2018

      Interview

They called within hours of me applying. The postings are vague. I interviewed within the next day or so and the receptionist seemed really unprofessional. Once you enter the interview room, its very intimidating and the talk down to you. Turns out the job is squirting lotions in peoples hands at Costcos all over Kentucky. They post the same job and call it like 15 different things. PR Assistant, Marketing Coordination, Product Specialist, etc. At the end of the interview they tell you "If you make the cut, well have you do a field test tomorrow" and when they call and leave a message saying you made the cut (because literally anyone can do this job), they leave a number that sounds like its Suri's (from 30 Rock) personal voicemail.
