      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2017

      Interview

Group interview with around 3 people. Talked about policies, background of Victoria's Secret, favourite products, etc. It was a very easy interview as the interviewees all built on each other's ideas. The interviewer was very kind and laid-back. Important to acknowledge how Victoria's Secret came about and facts about the store itself.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (London, England) in Sept 2017

      Interview

I applied at the beginning of September they got back to me about a week later with a phone call. They asked about my availability, why VS, mostly about me and what I do. Told me if I was successful I’d hear back in 5 or so days. I got a call a hour later asking if I could come in for an interview 3 days later. It was a group interview there was about 12 of us all together. We introduced ourselves said a little about ourselves. We then split into two groups and were given 3 items per group. We had a chance to discuss them then each had to sell them to the manager. They were looking for people who made a team effort to include everyone and who had knowledge of what they were talking about. We then switched items with the other team and did the same thing. After we all came together again and were asked questions about customer service. The entire process was clearly based on customer service and how you handle people and situations. The interview lasted about and hour possibly hour and a half. We filled out a availability sheet and left. I didn’t hear back for a while and assumed I hadn’t got the job, as they mentioned wanting people starting pretty much immediate, 2 weeks later I got a call with apologises and a job offer and told I would receive a phone call/email very shortly. Interview tips: it’s not worth being nervous. I think they took liking to the people who were confident in what they were saying and believed what they were saying. Definitely research what they sell, who they sell to, promotions in store, what’s new in store. Things like that are useful within the interview and can help you with selling points. Wear all black, 10% white if needed - FORMAL/BUSINESS WEAR they were very displeased with people who turned up in jeans and tshirts.
