I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Public Landing, MD) in Oct 2014
Interview
It was a group interview. Three women, the assistant manager, brand manager and store manager took turns asking the girls that I was with as well as myself different questions. Nervewracking because it was a group interview but other than that it was laidback, the managers were personable and not too initimidating. They had quite a few questions but pretty much let you know if they liked you or not before you left the interview.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
