I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Lancaster, PA) in Sept 2009
Interview
I requested a paper application in person at a retail location, filled in the information and submitted it immediately. Within 2 days, I received a phone call, asking me to come in for an interview. When I arrived, the Bra Category Manager met with approximately 5 of us, ranging in age and experience. We sat in a public area elsewhere in the mall where she asked the same questions to each of us. Questions consisted of:
-Have you ever had to sell things to people?
-Are you comfortable selling to people?
-What do you consider the most important thing in the store: the appearance or customer service?
-Can you multitask?
-Describe a time when you received good/bad customer service.

What is most important: appearance of the store, or customer service?
The interview process was honestly pretty quick and straightforward. The manager there was ready to answer the questions I had about the company and the job position at the time.

Be prepared to ask them any questions you may have
The interview process was quick and easy. It involved submitting my resume and filling out an online application before interviewing IRL. I was offered the job for holiday cashier a week later.

Interview
The interview process was pretty standard. This was before the global pandemic. It seems that at the time they were hiring based on who they liked and not our qualifications.
