      Engineer Interview

      12 Sept 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Sunnyvale, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at ViewRay (Sunnyvale, CA) in Aug 2015

      Interview

Call for HR guy with brief description of job. Did not want a phone screen just come in for face to face. Seem very nice and professional. Better than the hiring manager who had not even read my resume and seem unprepared for the interview.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Managers did one of those pet questions type of interview. Very narrow. Little if any discussion of what I had done. Did not seem to understand that in engineering if you do not know something off the top of your head you dig in and find out. So if you had not worked on this particular type of stuff you were screwed in the interview.
