Interview
I had the interview for Java developer role on April 2024.
Attended 2 rounds of interview.
First round was technical and was about 30 minutes. Covered the main important topics such as working of Hashmap (Equals() and hashcode () ), how to make a custom class to be eligible to use as a key (immutable) inside the hashmap, collections, etc. I would say a high level interview not more detailed.
Second round was also technical and it went around 60 minutes it was detailed. Interviewer covered pretty much fundamental and important topics across java(60%), Spring MVC( 30%) and Database(10%).
It went well but didn't get a response back from the recruiter.

First sound:
Working of Hashmap, Equals and Hash method.
Second round:
All OOP concepts, Java exception handling, collections,etc.
Spring Framework- inversion of control, dependency injection, scopes of beans etc.

There were 3 rounds of interview in virtusa.
Technical round, client round and service line interview. Interview process was lengthy and time consuming. It was focused on core Java, springboot and microservices. Some questions were from database also.

What is immutability in Java. Explain java oops concepts. Write a program to print duplicate integers from the list using streams. Explain current project structure etc.

Interview
AI round and then one or two TRs based on the role or previous round. The interview is not difficult and they are looking for deep understanding on concepts or work that we are aware or previously worked on.

My cv got selected and I received a call from Hr to come for walk-in and they clearly mention that all rounds will happen on the same day and on Monday you will receive offer,if you got selected.
They make us wait for 3 hr for first round and then 1st was AI based java,springboot interview.
And then second round was again technical but on their office laptop via teams.
After that 1 hr round and hr told as its now 8 pm in night,he will give a call back on monday to discuss further but after that they just ghosted me
