I applied online. I interviewed at Vise in Feb 2026
Interview
Vise had the most interviews planned in any process I've ever experienced. 7 individual interviews is certainly overkill, but I digress. First call went straight to the head of product, went fine. Second call went to another designer on the team, went well. Third call was a portfolio review with a larger team, which was not as smooth. We started late, and one member entered the call an additional 20 minutes late and brazenly requested I repeat all the content he missed, which I felt was disruptive. In summary, I know startups like this are gunning for both insane speed/output and innovation, but I ultimately think those two things are mutually exclusive unless the startup has a robust design organization and support for its design team, which Vise does not have.

Interview
It was normal. Recruiter reached out and schedule me to speak with one of the Account Managers. Can tell he was NOT prepared. Asked several questions on repeat, and wasn't engaged. Got rejected but after that interview, I wasn't interested to continue anyways.
