      Senior Product Manager Interview

      25 Jan 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Diego, CA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Vistage Worldwide (San Diego, CA) in Mar 2020

      Interview

Started with an initial round of 2 or 3 1-on-1 phone interviews with their HR Manager and the Hiring Manager. After this I did 2 in person interviews which were about 1.5-2 hours wherein I interviewed for about 30 minutes with individual members of the team, both those in senior leadership positions and those who were peers. Everyone I interviewed with was very nice and friendly. Mainly standard questions such as biggest wins, biggest challenges, what I bring to the table, etc. In this instance they wanted to hear about previous products I built and delivered and the success of those projects. In the end, unfortunately I lost out to someone that had a little more direct experience. I would say the interviews themselves were easy, but given the amount of time taken to maneuver through the process and the number of people/personalities you spoke with, I'd rank the difficulty as slightly above average.

      Senior Product Manager Interview

      26 Jul 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Diego, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Vistage Worldwide (San Diego, CA) in Feb 2020

      Interview

This was a very lengthy interview process wherein interviews were conducted with every member of the existing team. This resulted in about 6-8 separate interviews, each lasting somewhere between 30 minutes and an hour. The entire process lasted about 2 months wherein I ended as one of the top two candidates but ultimately wasn't offered the position. Each of these interviews were in-person and they weren't all scheduled on the same day. Ultimately, I was required to come into their office on 3 separate occasions for interviews. Including drive time and overall back-and-forth with HR and their hiring team, I spent about 12-15 hours of time just in interviewing and follow-ups. Given the excessive time commitment for this specific interview process (and, admittedly, not getting offered the position), the entire cycle left a bitter taste in my mouth. Everyone I met with was very friendly overall though and the company felt like a great place to work; that said, building efficiencies in their hiring/vetting process is a must.

      Senior Product Manager Interview

      23 Jun 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Vistage Worldwide

      Interview

Thought the interview went great. I did not get an offer and when I asked why I was told that I did not have one aspect of the job which I was never asked if I did or did not do..waste of time and energy.
