The initial one-way video interview had some thoughtful questions. The second interview with a recruiter was great. He seemed engaged in the interview as if he genuinely wanted to get to know how I could contribute to this organization. The third interview was eventually scheduled with the HR Director and another HR associate. Before the call officially began, the HR Director said she had to leave the call because “legal” was calling her. The other HR associate continued the interview alone. The HR director eventually returned and she didn’t ask me any questions about myself. She rambled for a while, more so about herself and what she does in her role. It didn’t feel like a genuine interest to get to know me, but I pushed through. This was scheduled on 6/4 - and they told me I would hear something the following week. Days passed and I didn’t hear anything. I added both to an email on 6/9 to follow up on status to determine if they chose their candidate (which if I didn’t hear anything, they usually would’ve) and I haven’t heard from them since then. It was very disappointing. Ultimately, I wouldn’t want to work with a company with hiring practices like such. It was a blatant disregard for my time, and the candidate experience. I went through 3 interviews just to be ghosted. Prior to all of this, after the interview with the initial recruiter I felt more excited about the role, but after the interview with the two ladies and being ghosted, I wouldn’t consider this company. It shows how they more than likely operate their HR department - esp with an HR Director maneuvering in this way.
