Pros:
Vivid seems like a fast-moving fintech with interesting products and an international environment. The role itself was framed as strategic and senior, which initially made it an exciting opportunity.
Cons:
The interview process did not reflect the level of the position. The first-stage interview was scheduled for a full hour with a very junior HR representative, who asked surface-level questions that didn’t meaningfully assess experience or fit. For a candidate with 8+ years in senior analytics and leadership roles, the conversation felt like a box-ticking exercise - not a strategic exchange.
No detailed feedback was provided afterward, which adds to the sense of a process that’s more volume-driven than thoughtfully curated for experienced professionals.
Advice to Management:
If you’re hiring for senior roles, design an experience that reflects that level: structured, insightful, and led by stakeholders who can speak to the challenges and expectations of the role. Otherwise, it risks wasting time on both sides.
