While generally, the interview process was good, there were some red-flag cons:
CONS:
1. I was ghosted in the final round after performing ~10+ hours of work for the interview process.
2. The COO opened their interview with "What position are you applying for?" and rambled for the 30-minute window about many non-work-related topics, no actual questions were prepared. I felt that this was very unorganized and very rude to not spend 2 minutes preparing prior.
3. Process timeline promises were made but nearly none were kept, leading me to believe the organization is messy.
PROCESS:
1. Started with an introduction call
2. Had a call with the hiring manager
3. Technical assessment take home (Excell & Practical)
4. Presentation of technical assessment
5. 5 consecutive 30-minute calls (equating to a 2.5-hour interview) with different employees in the company. (This was wholly unnecessary and a waste of a candidate's time as well as company time. This interview alone is what made it a negative experience)
PROS:
1. Nearly everyone I spoke with was pleasant and knowledgeable.
2. Technical assessment was critical and the presentation format was built to allow a candidate to show applicable problem solving (I really liked this).
