Interview
Three parts: Phone interview, interview with panel and final interview with potential supervisor. Phone interview happened a week prior to group/panel interview. 1:1 interview was more intense than group interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at WAMU 88.5FM (Washington, DC) in Aug 2012
Interview
I had a great phone interview with the managing producer for the show. That person was gracious, interested in my background, explained fully the nature of the internship and that the quality of the internship experience would be excellent because they needed lots of quality help. Good experience.

Question 1
What was your experience at Radio Documentary School like?
I applied through university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at WAMU 88.5FM (Washington, DC) in Aug 2015
Interview
As with any interview, your nerves get the best of you just before you sit down to discuss the position. I was greeted promptly and escorted to the meeting room where the selection committee was waiting.
The Senior person in the room was leading the charge and started off by saying - "Let's first start off with some soft questions". With this I was asked about how I'm qualified to take the position...Not an issue. But their was one person in the room who was always the negative person. "Tell me about your worst management issue". " What is your deficit and why". You always have these prepped but really? Going against a script that everyone was admittedly reading from? One person in the room even commented- "Oh yea you already asked that question".
I really enjoyed the process but wish it was quicker in the process. Very slow...
