I was referred for this position. The team I interviewed with seemed knowledgeable and passionate about their work. They are a well-established company with exciting tech and innovation projects. I had 5 rounds. The interview process was frustrating and felt disorganized. After going through multiple rounds of interviews, I was left in the dark for weeks.
Communication from HR was minimal and slow. I was the one who kept having to reach out about updates, if not I would be ghosted. I was finally rejected via a brief, impersonal email from the person's iPhone, which left a bad taste.
It lacked professionalism and felt dismissive after the time I invested.
I also had a referral from within the company, which made the lack of respect and clarity even more disappointing. They said I was the top candidate, and then told me they were interviewing more candidates.
I would be careful interviewing here. The process took over a month. 5 interviews for a junior-level role is not okay, and my management advice is to have a concise view of what the role is asking for and a cap on how many people you interview the role for. And to also not say certain things that aren't true, getting a candidate's hopes up.
