I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WITHIN in Jan 2025
Interview
The interview process was extremely strange. There are two rounds of completely virtual assessments before you speak with a real person over a camera off voice call. This was friendly although I felt like the recruiter was impatient with my questions, also the assessments were odd. The recruiter really emphasized the meal delivery service as a perk, which to me suggests there are no other benefits at this company. After this round, I was told the final round is entirely behavioral and I would not need to prepare. However, the final round was a data test where I had to look at an excel sheet and talk about it with the interviewer. This caught me by surprise and was simply unprofessional of the hiring team to not tell me about the data test before hand. Candidates should not feel blindsided by the process, so overall, I think I dodged a bullet by not joining this company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
- Information retention question: You have two weeks to do a school project, one person drops out last minute, what would you do
- Note taking test: They list out five things and ask you to repeat it back, you're allowed to take notes
- Final round data test was looking at ad spend for a fake company, the caveat is that the days are around cybermonday, so make sure you can notice that and answer questions accordingly
Interview process was straightforward. There was a typing test followed by a cognitive test. After that was an excel test. If that goes well, there are 2 more interviews with the team.

You have a school project and 2 weeks before the due date, one of your group members had to leave for personal reasons. What would you do?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WITHIN (New York, NY) in Dec 2024
Interview
Performed a competency test and a technical capabilities excel worksheet (~3 hours total work) before receiving any sort of human communication, and was then dropped from the process via a @noreply email. No issue with these types of assessments, but feedback would be nice (or at least provide a real person's contact to follow up with) if you're going to ask candidates to invest multiple hours to complete them as the first few stages in the process.

Question 1
Excel assessment involved predicting future profits/revenue and analyzing trends in those metrics without using any sort of trend prediction function within Excel
